A multifaceted creative living through art.
My old love of drawing is the reason for all of my art and design. Since a young child, before I could even fully form words I would draw on the walls. Drawing drove my passion as I've grown into a man. My first dream was designing cars, then it was to be an architect. When I started designing clothes, I found another thing I really loved. Clothes were the only drawings I could easily recreate, so I taught myself to sew. I deconstructed old clothes and made new ones from them. This taught me about patterns and seams before fashion school. I started my streetwear brand, Calm Down in 2020 shortly after graduating high school and getting accepted into SCAD(Savannah College of Art & Design. Throughout my years in college, I exercised all my art through Calm Down. I made clothes with embroideries of my hand drawings and sold them mainly in my hometown. My brand has grown a cult following in Valdosta, where I make all the clothes and embroider them myself. I would embroider onto blanks, and also construct 1 of 1 upcycled pieces for customers. I even incorporated my brand into a lot of school projects. Calm Down will soon be loved by the globe!
